Tips to Clean a Crystal Chandelier
Before visiting our showroom in Mississauga, find out the ways to clean a crystal chandelier.
Cleaning method with crystals on:
- Switch off the light and let the bulb cool down
- Disconnect the plug-in for extra safety
- Prepare the area where you will climb the ladder to clean the light
- Lay a piece of thick cloth on the floor to save the crystal parts if it falls down
- Spray glass cleaner on a cotton cloth and clean the crystals individually
- Use a dry cloth to wipe off the moisture immediately
- Don’t twist or rotate the chandelier while cleaning, as it may lead to a risk of falling or breaking
- Descend and adjust the ladder to reach its other parts
- Wipe the frame and other parts of the chandelier with a dry cloth or metal cleaner
- Use a dry cloth to clean the metal hooks and fastener to keep the polish, or finish intact
- Dust light bulbs softly with a dry cloth
